So! It has been a very long time since my last post and I am coming back with photos of a 'Life Portrait' session I did in august.
'Life portrait' is another approach to family portraiture, more natural. It is closer to what I do during the weddings I photograph, it is, again, a documentary approach, and gives beautiful candid images.
This was my first session with a family and I loved every minute of it! I love the result too! Those little moment, sometimes joyful, full of tenderness, sometimes a bit more difficult (you know...because babies cry!), it is a pleasure to witness them and to be able to capture them for the family to keep as a memento of that day, that period in time.
For this style of photography I took my inspiration from one of my favourite photographer out there, Kevin Mullins, who obviously doesn't inspire me only in family portraiture but also in wedding photography. He has got an amazing talent to portray emotion in his images and I hope i have been able to do the same here!
Have a lovely week-end everyone!
